full-time Overall management of construction projects resulting in successful project completion with the objective of exceeding client expectations. Responsibilities Able to perform all responsibilities of a Project Engineer and Assistant Project Manager Create a schedule of values from the awarded estimate Establish a detailed schedule from the awarded schedule Negotiate, prepare, and issue subcontract bid packages Negotiate subcontract and material purchases within the budget range Set up and implement job procedures and techniques to ensure timely buyout, shop drawing approval, and material delivery Develop and maintain good relationships with the Owner, Architect, and Subcontractors Work with the Superintendent to develop safety plans and implement safety procedures Maintain timely and accurate reporting to all stakeholders Manage, train, and supervise the project team according to the company policy Organize regular meetings for management and subcontractors Review contract conditions; ensure compliance with all contract terms Supervise documentation of all significant project events, e.g., accidents, delays, and change orders Maintain quality control for projects under your supervision Maintain the project schedule Avoid or mitigate claims and conflict Complete the project with a full or enhanced fee Complete all job close-out procedures Complete other responsibilities as assigned Qualifications Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Construction management experience (5-8 years, including supervisory skills) Leadership ability Problem-solving ability and a strong sense of urgency Organizational and communication skills Excellent computer skills Strong comprehension of all project management control systems (scheduling, cost control, procurement, and estimating) Procore Experience is a plus
