full-time Company Description ABLE has provided over 43 years of construction improvements and professional services across California for a wide range of clients, including the U.S. Department of Defense, K-12 and higher education institutions, local municipalities, and medical facilities. Our team has successfully executed projects in occupied facilities, under strict public works compliance requirements, and in environments with extreme weather conditions, hazardous materials abatement, and complex logistical constraints. We are a licensed General Contractor that also self-performs HVAC Mechanical and Sheet Metal solutions for federal, public, and commercial clients. Licenses held include CA B-License (General Building), C-20 (HVAC), and C-43 (Sheet Metal) licenses, We self-perform core scopes and manage projects such as new construction, renovations, modernizations, and tenant improvements. Role Description The Project Manager is a full-time, in-office role based in Chula Vista, CA, responsible for overseeing multiple Construction projects from initiation through completion. This position manages project schedules, budgets, progress billings, submittal review, QC and safety inspections, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to quality standards across all projects. Qualifications Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to handle multiple concurrent projects. Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with clients, vendors, field teams, and internal departments. Proficiency with Project Management software and standard office applications (e.g., MS Office - Teams, Outlook, OneNote, OneDrive, Bluebeam, Procore, Textura, etc.). Understanding of safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards relevant to the construction industry. Relevant education/training, along with 5+ years of General Contractor Project Management work experience will be considered. Ability to work in-office in Chula Vista, CA as well as some travel to in-town and out of town project locations as required.
