This role will manage projects from preconstruction and turnover through procurement, field execution, financial management, and closeout. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced mechanical construction professional who has managed complex HVAC and piping scopes and is comfortable working directly with owners, general contractors, field teams, vendors, and subcontractors. Key Responsibilities Manage commercial HVAC and mechanical construction projects from start through closeout Oversee project budgets, cost forecasting, schedules, procurement, and overall financial performance Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, contracts, and project documentation Coordinate equipment, materials, subcontractors, vendors, and field labor Review plans, specifications, scopes of work, and project requirements Work closely with field leadership to maintain schedule, quality, and project execution Lead project meetings and maintain communication with owners, general contractors, engineers, and internal teams Track project costs, change management, billing, and profitability Identify project risks and proactively resolve scheduling, coordination, and constructability issues Support project turnover, commissioning, punch list, and closeout Requirements 7-10+ years of project management experience within mechanical construction Strong commercial HVAC and mechanical contracting background Experience managing projects through the full construction lifecycle Knowledge of HVAC equipment, mechanical piping, controls, and related building systems Strong understanding of project budgets, forecasting, schedules, RFIs, submittals, and change orders Experience working with general contractors, owners, engineers, field teams, and subcontractors Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Proficiency with construction project management software and Microsoft Office Experience with healthcare, life science, higher education, government, military, data center, or other complex commercial projects is a plus Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Paid holidays and PTO Long-term growth opportunity with an established mechanical contractor
