Project Manager, Principal - Markets Strategic Execution Blue Shield of CA United States, California, Rancho Cordova Aug 25, 2026 Your Role The Growth Strategy and Execution team is responsible for the orchestration of strategic planning and execution across the eight lines of business that make up the Growth organization. The Project Manager, Principal - Markets Strategic Execution will report to the Director, Markets Strategic Execution. In this role you will function as a business and technical leader of large-scale initiatives of $5M+, partnering with business and technical product owners and managers to deliver required business outcomes and capabilities. The role is accountable for developing, managing, and monitoring estimates, budget, forecasts, and accruals; and is also responsible for managing and maintaining dashboards throughout delivery and representing and advocating for delivery teams during intake and quarterly delivery planning. The Principal Project Manager partners with multiple delivery portfolios and product teams to influence and improve product/initiative-based activities to achieve required business value. Your Knowledge and Experience Requires a bachelor's degree or High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree
Requires 10 years of prior relevant experience
Requires demonstrated leadership on large-scale enterprise-wide projects and programs ($5M+ budgets), showing increasing responsibility of scope and schedule complexity, budget accountability, and communications
Requires experience managing multiple cross-functional project based teams
Experience managing direct or in-direct reports is preferred
Experience with information technology operations and a technical background experience, including complex technical project management, is preferred
Knowledge of Blue Shield of California (BSC) or prior healthcare payer experience is preferred
