Position Overview Kinetic Design is seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to lead architectural and multidisciplinary projects from initial client engagement through final completion. This leadership position is responsible for delivering projects on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining exceptional client relationships. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong organizational skills, financial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. In addition to project execution, this role is responsible for monitoring project profitability, managing invoicing, and ensuring each project achieves its financial objectives. Working closely with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams, the Project Manager will play a critical role in the continued growth and success of Kinetic Design Key Responsibilities Lead multiple architectural and engineering projects from proposal through project closeout. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong, long-term client relationships. Develop project work plans, schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and resource allocations. Monitor project scope, schedule, budget, and profitability throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate and manage multidisciplinary design teams, including architecture, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and project administration. Facilitate internal project meetings and maintain clear communication with clients and consultants. Ensure project deliverables meet company quality standards and client expectations. Manage permitting activities and coordinate with local jurisdictions and regulatory agencies. Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions to maintain project success. Mentor and support junior staff while promoting collaboration and accountability across project teams. Maintain accurate project documentation using company project management systems. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. Minimum of 5 years of project management experience within an architectural, engineering, or design firm. Strong understanding of commercial architecture, construction documentation, permitting, and building systems. Working knowledge of the California Building Code and permitting processes. Multi-state experience is a plus. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and project management software. Experience managing project budgets, contracts, invoicing Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects. Demonstrated ability to solve problems, make sound decisions, and lead project teams under tight deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Licensed Architect preferred but not required. Experience managing national rollout programs or multi-site commercial projects. Familiarity with project management and accounting software. Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams. Benefits
