Project Manager Assistant I Babcock Laboratories - 2.8 Riverside, CA Job Details Full-time $18.14 - $20.16 an hour 20 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Flexible spending account Paid time off Vision insurance Employee stock ownership plan Qualifications Computer operation Customer communication Customer service High school diploma or GED Project management Manual handling Full Job Description This role is responsible for assisting the Project Managers (PMs) at a basic level of understanding with project communication, report processing, invoice preparation, and other client-service related duties and responsibilities to ensure the successful completion of the clients' projects and services provided by the laboratory to the client. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1.
Project Management:
Complete initial work order review. Field clients' calls and provide pertinent information. Update databases to keep client information current. Research and complete client requests for old or missing data. Process subcontract work orders to the sub labs. Submit bottle orders to Sample Control. Create and assist with review of final reports for assigned PM to review. Prepare and send reports to clients via preferred file transmission method. Review field data. Review client invoices for accuracy and completeness. Review and sign simple customer reports (e.g., auto spool or other microbiology reports), as needed. 2. Staff Development Adopt and communicate the company vision, mission, and values. Actively participate with manager for coaching and development. Track key performance indicators and employee scorecard metrics. Requirements The requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • High school diploma or degree equivalent with at least four years of experience in customer service.
  • Meet the required level of competency in Babcock Laboratories' Competency Matrix.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a moderate noise level. Employees may also be exposed to unpleasant smells and hazards such as chemicals and fumes. The shift schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
