Job Description

Cockram Construction, founded in 1861, is an international construction services business, headquartered in Melbourne, Australia. Worldwide our locations include the USA, Australia, China, India and New Zealand. We are, at heart, a construction company with an aim to provide top-level services to our clients in high-tech and challenging industries. In the US, our staff provide services on client sites coast to coast with a focus in the Pharmaceutical / Bio-Tech, Data Center and Themed/Attraction industries.

We are looking for an Investment Lifecycle Management (ILM) Manager to act as an owner representative for our client. This role will be responsible for supporting our clients ILM governance process for reviewing and approving capital projects & leases and will be accountable for partnering with project teams to ensure readiness for monthly governance meetings.
Position Overview:
The ILM Manager will partner with all internal multi-functional group/internal business partners that support capital projects, including Engineering Technical Authority, Project Management, Facilities Management, Site Engineering, Capital Finance, Property Accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
Review & update capital authorization requests and partner with multiple capital & lease project teams to ensure readiness for monthly project review & governance meetingsPrepare concise, executive ready written communications for capital governance committeesLead cross functional meetings with project teams to ensure concise, accurate and complete capital authorization request.

Identify and lead continuous improvement activities, including process simplification / streamlining & automation activities to drive ILM duration reductions and efficiencyUpdate Investment Lifecycle Management (ILM) Guidelines and associated training materialsUnderstand of ILM related Global Finance Policies and Procedures to provide guidance to project teams and ensure compliance
Qualifications:
Demonstrated construction project delivery skills, in a Project Manager or Project Controls ManagerExperience of Capital Planning and Capital Project Approvals processExcellent communication skills both verbal and written at various levels of the organizationAbility to progress actions on multiple fronts with multiple different cross functional project teams, with tenacity and flexibilityProficiency in digital tools/
AIPreferred Experience:
Portfolio Management experienceExperience working for a client organization in the above areasPharma/biotech experienceJoin our team and contribute to exciting projects worldwide.
