Job Description
Who We Are Robert Half is seeking a Project Manager III - Scrum Lead within Application Technology and Innovation (ATI), supporting HR and Financial Solutions (HRFS). This role provides Agile leadership and delivery coordination for one or more technology delivery teams, helping teams plan, execute, communicate, and continuously improve in a complex enterprise environment. The PM III - Scrum Lead combines Scrum leadership with practical project management discipline. The role supports SAFe and Agile execution, strengthens delivery visibility, manages risks and dependencies, and partners with Product Owners, Project Managers, Engineering, Quality, Business, Application Leadership, and other technology partners to drive alignment and predictable outcomes. What You'll Do Facilitate effective Agile and SAFe team events that support planning, delivery, inspection, adaptation, and continuous improvement. Coach teams on practical Agile behaviors that improve ownership, collaboration, transparency, and delivery flow. Support PI Planning and release planning by helping clarify team capacity, objectives, risks, dependencies, and readiness needs. Coordinate across teams and partners to maintain clarity on priorities, scope, handoffs, dependencies, timing, and delivery commitments. Help ensure delivery conversations are outcome-focused, organized, and supported by clear ownership and next steps. Provide concise, accurate delivery updates that communicate progress, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions needed and recommended next steps. Promote quality Jira and reporting data so teams and leaders have reliable visibility into work, capacity, delivery health, and trends. Translate team-level delivery information into stakeholder communications that support alignment and informed decision-making. Identify, track, and help resolve impediments, risks, issues, and cross-team dependencies that may affect delivery outcomes. Escalate concerns early with clear impact, ownership, mitigation options, and timing considerations. Support release readiness by helping teams coordinate checkpoints, demos, testing readiness, follow-ups, and delivery communications. Partner with Product Owners, Project Managers, Engineering, Quality, Business, Application Leadership, vendors, and other technology teams to drive shared accountability. Encourage continuous improvement through retrospectives, data-informed insights, and practical changes that improve flow, predictability, quality, and team health. What You'll Need Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience. 5+ years of experience in a Scrum Lead, Agile Delivery Lead, Project Manager, or similar technology delivery role. Strong working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and SAFe practices, with experience supporting planning and delivery execution. Experience using Jira or similar Agile work management tools to support delivery tracking, reporting, and team visibility. Ability to communicate clearly with technical teams, business partners, vendors, and senior-level stakeholders. Strong facilitation, organization, problem-solving, prioritization, and influence skills. Preferred Qualifications Agile certification such as CSM, PSM, SSM, SASM, or equivalent. Experience working in a scaled Agile environment, including PI Planning and cross-team dependency management. Experience supporting enterprise applications, modernization initiatives, HR or Finance technology, cloud platforms, data platforms, or shared service solutions. General understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, AWS, or modern application delivery concepts. The typical annual salary range for this position is shown below and is negotiable depending upon experience and location. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus. $109,000.00 - $165,000.00 We offer exceptional earning potential and a competitive benefits package, including group health insurance benefits (medical, vision, dental), FSA and HSA healthcare accounts, life and accident insurance, adoption and fertility assistance, paid parental leave of up to 6 weeks, and short/long term disability.
