Job Description

Overview Horn's is an established Southern California service company providing commercial plumbing, backflow, water damage restoration, mitigation, and related construction services. We are looking for an experienced, motivated Sales / Project Manager who can develop new business, maintain existing customer relationships, estimate projects, and help manage projects from the initial customer contact through completion. This is not strictly an office sales position. We are looking for someone who is comfortable being in the field, meeting customers, inspecting projects, preparing estimates, closing work, and helping ensure projects are completed successfully. Responsibilities The Sales / Project Manager will work across both Horn's Water Restoration and Horn's Backflow & Plumbing Service .
Primary responsibilities include:
Develop new commercial plumbing and water restoration customers Build relationships with property managers, facility managers, building engineers, HOAs, commercial property owners, general contractors, plumbers, insurance professionals, and other referral partners Follow up on company-generated leads and existing customer opportunities Conduct outside sales calls and customer visits Attend networking events and develop referral relationships Respond to water damage and restoration opportunities Meet customers and inspect job sites Develop scopes of work and prepare estimates Present proposals and follow up until a decision is made Negotiate and close profitable projects Coordinate sold projects with operations, technicians, subcontractors, and management Manage project schedules, materials, equipment, and customer expectations Monitor job costs, budgets, change orders, and project profitability Maintain accurate project documentation, photographs, notes, and customer communication Assist with water mitigation, mold remediation, reconstruction, plumbing, backflow, and emergency service projects Develop additional work from existing customers Maintain regular contact with key commercial accounts Provide management with sales pipeline, project status, and revenue updates Help identify new markets and opportunities for both companies Preferred qualifications: 3+ years of experience in restoration, plumbing, construction, property services, facilities services, or a related industry Proven outside sales and business-development experience Project management experience Strong estimating and proposal-writing skills Experience working with commercial customers and property managers Understanding of water mitigation and restoration procedures Plumbing industry knowledge is highly desirable Experience with Xactimate is a plus IICRC certifications are a plus Strong communication and customer-service skills Ability to develop long-term customer relationships Strong organizational and follow-up skills Comfortable managing multiple projects and sales opportunities simultaneously Ability to understand job costs and maintain project profitability Valid California driver's license and acceptable driving record Comfortable using computers, smartphones, CRM/project-management software, email, and estimating systems
Compensation Base Salary:
$80,000-$120,000 annually, depending on experience In addition to base salary, this position will have an opportunity to earn commission and/or performance bonuses based on new business, gross profit, project performance, and overall sales results.
Expected total annual compensation:
$100,000-$150,000+ for a successful performer. Compensation will be structured to reward both profitable sales growth and successful project management.
