Project Manager Champion Specialty Services Sausalito, CA Job Details Full-time 13 hours ago Qualifications Schedule management Working on construction projects in a civil infrastructure role Managing projects Productivity software Stakeholder relationship building Stakeholder management Full Job Description Job Purpose Champion Specialty Services is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee coordination between Champion, subcontractors, engineers, clients, and project stakeholders on large infrastructure and industrial projects. This role is responsible for managing project scope, schedule, engineering coordination, change management, risk mitigation, and overall project execution to ensure successful project delivery. Duties and Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact between Champion, subcontractors, engineers, and project stakeholders. Manage contract requirements, scope alignment, and project documentation. Coordinate and track RFIs, submittals, engineering deliverables, and approvals. Review and manage change orders, cost impacts, and schedule impacts. Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans before impacts occur. Monitor project schedules and coordinate recovery plans when milestones are at risk. Lead project coordination meetings and maintain accurate meeting records. Track procurement, material deliveries, fabrication progress, and equipment readiness. Ensure work is performed in accordance with contract requirements, approved plans, and project specifications. Prepare and present project status updates to leadership. Escalate critical safety, schedule, engineering, cost, or contractual issues as needed. Qualifications and Skills Experience 7+ years of construction project management experience. Experience managing complex industrial, heavy civil, bridge, marine, or infrastructure projects. Strong understanding of contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, scheduling, and project controls. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive timely decisions. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software. Preferred Qualifications Experience with public works or transportation infrastructure projects. Experience coordinating with engineers, subcontractors, and owner representatives. Knowledge of engineering review, access systems, temporary works, or scaffold coordination. What Success Looks Like Projects remain aligned with scope, budget, and schedule. Risks are identified and resolved before impacting production. Engineering, submittals, and RFIs are processed in a timely manner. Strong communication is maintained between all project stakeholders. Project commitments and decisions are documented and executed efficiently.
