Job Description
Job Overview Iron Mountain Fire Protection, Inc. is looking for an experienced Fire Sprinkler Designer / Project Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing fire sprinkler systems, managing commercial and industrial fire protection projects, coordinating with customers and contractors, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. If you are detail-oriented, organized, and have experience in both fire sprinkler design and project management, we'd like to hear from you. Responsibilities
- Design fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA standards and local codes.
- Prepare shop drawings, and material submittals.
- Review plans, specifications, and project documents.
- Manage projects from award through completion.
- Coordinate with customers, general contractors, engineers, and field personnel.
- Order materials and schedule deliveries.
- Obtain permits and coordinate inspections.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and progress.
- Resolve design and construction issues.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
- Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of fire sprinkler design and/or project management experience.
- Experience with AutoSPRINK, HydraCAD, or similar design software.
- Working knowledge of NFPA 13 and applicable California fire codes.
- Experience performing hydraulic calculations.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Valid driver's license (Required)
- Preferred Qualifications
- NICET Certification (Preferred)
- Commercial and industrial fire sprinkler experience Experience
- Fire sprinkler design: 3+ years (Preferred)
- Fire sprinkler project management: 3+ years (Preferred)
