Job Description:
About the Position Ashmore Construction is looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to support the successful execution of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is ideal for a construction professional who is ready to be involved in every phase of a project and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. We value individuals who take initiative and communicate effectively. You'll work directly with company leadership and have a meaningful impact on every project. Key Responsibilities Coordinate day-to-day project operations from project award through closeout Prepare and administer subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders Track RFIs, submittals, project schedules, and document control Process subcontractor invoices, owner billings, and project cost documentation Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep projects moving forward Review construction drawings and specifications Assist with procurement, material tracking, and project scheduling Support field operations and help monitor and resolve project issues Attend project meetings and maintain accurate meeting minutes and action items Ensure project documentation is complete and organized throughout the project lifecycle Experience 3-7 years of commercial construction experience in project coordination, project engineering, or project management Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred Experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously Technical Skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam Working knowledge of Microsoft Project Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts Professional Skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Ability to prioritize deadlines Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving High attention to detail and commitment to quality Work Environment Combination of office and job site work Ability to walk active construction sites, climb stairs, and occasionally climb ladders Why Join Ashmore Construction?
