full-time Company Description Minton Door Company is a growing doors and hardware provider serving commercial projects throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. The company focuses on delivering high-quality products and reliable project support to contractors, builders, and property managers. Team members collaborate closely with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate orders, timely deliveries, and smooth project execution. The Role The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with Project Managers, field personnel, general contractors,vendors, and customers to help coordinate projects from start to completion. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment. Key Responsibilities Support Project Managers with the coordination and administration of multiple commercialconstruction projects. Maintain project schedules, plans, logs, and other project documentation. Track project progress, deadlines, materials, and outstanding items. Assist with RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and other project-relateddocumentation. Communicate with general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and field personnel. Review project information and drawings for accuracy and completeness. Help identify potential project issues and communicate them to the Project Manager. Assist with scheduling material, deliveries, field work, and other project activities. Attend job-site and project meetings as needed and prepare meeting notes and follow-up items. Maintain organized electronic and paper project files. Follow up on outstanding information and ensure action items are completed. Provide general administrative support to the Project Management team as needed. Work collaboratively with the field and office teams to help keep projects on schedule and withinbudget. Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience in commercial construction, construction administration, projectcoordination, or a related field. Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word Ability to read and understand construction drawings and project documentation. Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team. Strong follow-through and the ability to take ownership of assigned responsibilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.

Preferred:

Experience working for a construction subcontractor. Experience with commercial doors, frames, finish hardware, or related construction products. Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, project schedules, and constructiondocumentation. Experience with Sage or other construction/project management software. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, or a related field. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is proactive, dependable, organized, and willing to learn. Construction experience is important, but we are also looking for someone with the drive and ability to grow into a larger project management role.
