Job Description

About the Position We are looking for a dependable, motivated, and organized Landscape & Irrigation Operations / Project Coordinator to join our team. This position is a hands-on role that combines material management, estimating, jobsite coordination, customer service, and general office/computer responsibilities . The ideal candidate will have actual experience in landscape and irrigation installation and understand how materials, crews, equipment, and jobsites need to be coordinated to keep projects moving efficiently. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn, works well with others, takes pride in their work, and can manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Order, receive, organize, and stock landscape and irrigation materials. Maintain accurate material inventory and help ensure crews have the materials they need. Stage and prepare materials for crews to pick up and take to jobsites. Keep the yard, warehouse, shop, and work areas clean, organized, and safe. Perform material takeoffs from plans and project documents. Assist with estimating landscape and irrigation projects. Review plans and specifications to determine material and labor requirements. Coordinate and manage jobsites to help ensure projects are completed efficiently and according to plans. Communicate with field crews, suppliers, subcontractors, and customers. Provide professional and responsive customer service. Help coordinate deliveries, equipment, materials, and jobsite needs. Track project information and complete necessary paperwork and documentation. Use computer programs for email, estimating, document management, and general office tasks. Scan, save, organize, and send documents electronically. Assist with other duties as needed to support company operations. Required Qualifications Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record. Must be insurable under the company's automobile insurance policy. English speaking and able to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, vendors, and crews. Basic to intermediate computer skills, including: Microsoft Excel Microsoft Outlook and email Adobe Acrobat/PDF Scanning, saving, and sending documents Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently while also being a team player. Ability to get along well with others and maintain a professional attitude. Willingness to learn new skills, systems, and procedures. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Ability to work in an outdoor construction environment and perform occasional physical tasks involving materials and equipment. Preferred Qualifications The following experience and skills are strongly preferred but not required : Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills. Hands-on experience with landscape installation . Hands-on experience with irrigation installation , including familiarity with irrigation components and installation practices. Experience performing landscape or irrigation material takeoffs and estimating. Experience managing or coordinating construction jobsites. Ability to safely operate a forklift . Experience operating tractors, dump trucks, or other construction equipment . Familiarity with CAD programs and reading construction/landscape plans. Experience working with landscape contractors, irrigation contractors, general contractors, or construction companies. This is a position for someone who can work comfortably between the office, yard, warehouse, and jobsites. The right candidate doesn't need to know everything on day one. A willingness to learn, a positive attitude, good communication skills, and the ability to work well with a team are extremely important to us.
