ESSENTIAL DUTIES WILL LIKELY INCLUDE
Within the first 30 days and ongoing:
- Attend all project meetings and assist with the execution of project requirements and client expectations.
- Review and understand project scope, budgets, schedules, specifications, and key stakeholder requirements for assigned projects.
- Meet with Project Superintendents, subcontractors, and field teams to establish communication protocols and project expectations.
- Prepare and complete pre-construction checklists and documentation including safety plans and insurance/bonding coordination.
- Create and maintain organized project files within the company's internal filing structure with current and accurate documentation.
- Pull permits from multiple agencies as required and coordinate permit requirements with appropriate departments.
- Produce professionally written correspondence and communications on your own accord and as required.
- Begin attending jobsite meetings and recording meeting minutes as requested by customers.
- Assist Superintendents and Field Foremen with RFI preparation and coordinate RFI responses with design teams and subcontractors.
- Distribute revised and delta drawings to corresponding subcontractors and field construction teams promptly.
- Assist the Accounting department with initial project setup and monthly billing processes. By 90 days and ongoing:
- Independently manage pre-construction through construction phases on assigned projects with demonstrated understanding of project requirements and scope.
- Show strong competency pre-qualifying subcontractor bids including quantity takeoffs and unit cost comparisons to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
- Demonstrate ability to track and manage change order and RFI systems efficiently, maintaining clear documentation and communication.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for change orders, evaluating impacts to project schedule and general conditions with sound analysis.
- Provide Superintendents with updated subcontractor and project information on an as-needed basis to keep field teams informed and coordinated.
- Track project budgets, spending, and profitability and identify variances requiring management attention.
- Attend regular jobsite meetings and record meeting minutes accurately and professionally.
- Show competency coordinating bonding and insurance requirements on a per-project basis and working with Accounting on compliance.

- Mentor new hires and interns on project management processes and best practices.
6 months and ongoing: Independently manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating the ability to juggle competing priorities, deadlines, and client needs without compromising quality or profitability. Show advanced competency reading, interpreting, and working from complex blueprints, plans, drawings, and technical specifications for aquatic construction projects. Demonstrate resourcefulness and creativity in identifying value engineering opportunities on every project that reduce costs without compromising quality or design intent. Successfully identify and resolve project issues proactively before they escalate, bringing problems and potential solutions to leadership and subcontractors. Manage complete project closeout procedures following company standards, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate and project files are properly archived. Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with all project documentation current, organized, and easily retrievable. Build strong relationships with key subcontractors, suppliers, and clients, positioning yourself as a trusted project leader and reliable point of contact. Show consistent delivery of projects on schedule and within budget with positive client feedback and satisfaction. 9th-12th month mark and ongoing: Demonstrate mastery managing multiple projects with total monthly project values exceeding company benchmarks without compromising quality, safety, or profitability. EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or other related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- 5+ years of formal training combined with field experience with a construction-based firm required
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory construction experience overseeing trades in aquatics, water features, mechanical systems, industrial plumbing, or similar specializations required
- Strong understanding of survey, earthwork, structure reinforcement, concrete, shotcrete, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, waterproofing, and architectural finishes required
- Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints, specifications, and statements of work with precision required
