Project Manager, Project & Portfolio Management Colorado Springs, Colorado About the Role Crave Technical is seeking a Project & Portfolio Manager to join our team. This role leads engineering and controls-integration projects from kickoff through close-out, while also maintaining visibility into Crave Technical's full project portfolio for resourcing and prioritization decisions. This is a hands-on opportunity for a Project Manager who enjoys technically challenging, customer-focused work and wants to continue developing project planning, portfolio reporting, and cross-functional leadership skills in an industrial automation and engineering environment. Key Responsibilities- Define scope, schedules, budgets, and resource plans for engineering and controls-integration projects, and manage execution from kickoff through close-out
- Lead cross-functional engineering and project teams, assigning tasks and removing obstacles to keep work on schedule
- Identify, mitigate, and escalate project risks and issues proactively
- Manage scope changes through a formal change-control process, communicating cost and schedule impacts to stakeholders
- Maintain a portfolio-level view of all active and upcoming projects, including status, health, and resource loading across the team
- Report project and portfolio status, risks, and financial performance to customers and company leadership
- Develop rapport with customers and communicate as needed QualificationsRequired
- Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- 3+ years of project management experience, including managing multiple concurrent projects
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant project management experience will be considered
- Proficiency with project and portfolio management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar), strong financial acumen in budgeting and cost control, and excellent stakeholder communication skills Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Controls Engineering
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification; PfMP (Portfolio Management Professional) a plus
- Experience with portfolio management frameworks and prior experience delivering industrial automation, controls, or systems integration projects Ongoing Training The Project Manager is expected to complete periodic refresher training and additional technical, safety, software, or process training as required by Crave Technical, customer requirements, changes in job responsibilities, or updates to company standards and procedures.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer
- Occasional travel to customer sites and manufacturing facilities, including time on active production floors
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and via video conference with customers and project teams Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this Full-Time position is $75,000-$90,000.
