  • Enterprise Knowledge & Collaboration Platforms Lead
  • to support our team onsite in Colorado Springs.

In this role, you will design, govern, and optimize the organization's knowledge ecosystem by ensuring critical information, processes, and institutional knowledge are captured, organized, and easily accessible across the enterprise. You will lead the strategy, tools, and governance models that enable employees to find information quickly, share expertise, and collaborate effectively. By creating a unified, well‑structured knowledge environment, the Knowledge Manager enhances operational efficiency, reduces duplication, accelerates onboarding, strengthens decision‑making, and preserves essential organizational intelligence.

  • Knowledge Strategy & Governance
  • + Define knowledge strategy — Establish the enterprise‑wide vision, roadmap, and governance model for knowledge management.

+ Develop standards — Create policies, taxonomies, metadata structures, and naming conventions to ensure consistency and findability.

+ Lead governance committees — Facilitate cross‑functional groups that oversee knowledge quality, lifecycle, and compliance.

+ Manage knowledge platforms — Oversee systems such as SharePoint, Power Platform, Confluence, Teams, and enterprise search tools.

+ Implement automation — Use Power Platform, AI, and automation to streamline content creation, tagging, and lifecycle management.

+ Optimize search — Improve enterprise search relevance, indexing, and user experience.

+ Oversee content lifecycle — Ensure content is created, reviewed, updated, archived, or retired according to policy.

+ Curate high‑value content — Identify and maintain authoritative sources, playbooks, SOPs, and knowledge assets.

+ Ensure quality — Validate accuracy, completeness, and alignment with organizational standards.

+ Promote knowledge culture — Drive adoption of knowledge‑sharing behaviors and tools across teams.

+ Facilitate communities of practice — Support CoPs, working groups, and subject‑matter networks.

+ Enable onboarding — Ensure new employees can quickly access essential knowledge and resources.

+ Train employees — Deliver training on knowledge systems, content standards, and best practices.

+ Develop guides — Produce documentation, templates, and toolkits to support content creators.

+ Measure effectiveness — Track KPIs such as search success, content usage, and time‑to‑information.

+ Identify gaps — Analyze patterns to find missing or outdated knowledge.

+ Drive improvements — Continuously refine tools, processes, and governance based on data.

  • Required Skills & Qualifications
  • + Strong understanding of enterprise platforms (SharePoint, Teams, Confluence, M365, Power Platform) + Experience developing taxonomies, metadata models, and content governance + Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder‑management skills + Ability to translate complex information into clear, accessible content + Familiarity with automation, AI‑assisted knowledge tools, and enterprise search optimization •Qualifications•Education and Experience•+ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Contract Management, or a related field plus 5 years' experience or HS plus 10+ years' experience in relative experience in lieu of education.

+ Strong knowledge of ITIL frameworks, IT service contracts, and vendor relationship management.

+ Demonstrated success in managing contract lifecycles and complex agreements.

  • Certifications (Preferred)
  • + ITIL Foundation Certification. + Relevant Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2).

Target salary range:

$80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
