Project Controls Administrator /
Coordinator Location:
Fairplay, CO (Project Site - Construction Environment)
Duration:
Contract through December 2027

EPC Projects Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week Position Overview We are seeking a Project Controls Administrator / Coordinator to support a large-scale utility-scale construction project. This position will play a critical role in project administration, workforce reporting, contractor compliance tracking, and prevailing wage documentation. The successful candidate will work closely with project management, construction leadership, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure accurate reporting, documentation management, and project support activities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and has strong organizational, communication, and data management skills. Key ResponsibilitiesPrevailing Wage Administration (Approximately 60%) Collect, review, and maintain prevailing wage reports from contractors and subcontractors. Verify workforce reporting accuracy and compliance with project requirements. Reconcile prevailing wage submissions with project activities and daily field reports. Track labor classifications, hours worked, and supporting documentation. Maintain reporting logs and project records. Identify discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions with stakeholders. Compile, organize, and validate reporting received from contractors. Support compliance documentation and audit readiness. Project Administration (Approximately 20-30%) Provide administrative support to project leadership. Maintain project records, tracking logs, and documentation. Prepare reports, correspondence, and project updates. Coordinate information flow between field personnel, contractors, and project management teams. Support weekly and monthly reporting requirements. Field Support (Approximately 10-20%) Conduct regular site walks to observe construction activities. Verify daily work progress against contractor reports. Assist with reconciliation of daily workforce reporting and project activity. Participate in project coordination meetings and progress reviews. Collaborate directly with construction personnel and contractor representatives. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in project administration, project coordination, document control, construction administration, project controls support, or a related field. Experience supporting construction, utility, industrial, infrastructure, oil & gas, or renewable energy projects. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of data and documentation. Experience gathering, organizing, and validating information from multiple stakeholders. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Ability to work effectively in an active construction environment. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with prevailing wage reporting and compliance. Utility-scale renewable energy or battery energy storage project experience. Project controls experience. Construction site administration experience. Experience supporting EPC projects. Knowledge of workforce reporting and contractor documentation management. Reporting Structure Reports directly to Project Management leadership. Works closely with Construction Management and site execution teams. Interfaces regularly with contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders. Work Environment Combination of office/trailer-based work and active field support. Regular construction site walks required. Standard construction PPE required. Physical requirements are limited primarily to walking the site and observing project activities.
