Wagner Electric is hiring a Project Engineer for commercial electrical projects.
Qualifications:
Must adhere and live out Wagner Electric's core values. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred. 1-5 years of engineering, construction, or project-related experience preferred. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word & Bluebeam Experience with project management or engineering software is a plus. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Willingness to travel to project sites as required. Key Responsibilities Assist with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution. Review engineering drawings, specifications, submittals, and technical documents. Coordinate with engineering, construction, procurement, and project management teams. Track project progress, costs, materials, and schedules. Prepare project documentation, reports, meeting notes, and status updates. Identify technical issues, risks, and schedule concerns and help develop solutions. Communicate with contractors, vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders. Support procurement activities and review vendor documentation. Participate in project meetings and provide technical support to the project team. Help coordinate change orders, RFIs, submittals, and other project controls. Support project closeout, commissioning, and final documentation.
