The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex construction projects, particularly in the commercial, clean room, pharmaceutical, and semiconductor sectors. This role requires exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Responsibilities Oversee all phases of construction projects from initiation to completion. Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources. Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and budget constraints. Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders. Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications and safety protocols. Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential project risks. Manage procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness. Lead project meetings and facilitate effective communication among all project team members. Responsible for financial monitoring and settlement of projects. Supervise executive staff to ensure qualifications and compliance with quality criteria. Manage entire implementation process from work preparation to delivery. Essential Skills Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, focusing on commercial, clean room, pharmaceutical, or semiconductor projects. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools such as MS Project, Procore, and Sage. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong analytical and decision-making abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively. Additional Skills & Qualifications PMP or similar certification is a plus. Knowledge of sustainable construction practices and LEED certification is a plus. Experience working on healthcare, manufacturing, clean rooms, and biopharma projects. Experience with change orders, RFI's, submittals, and take-offs. Experience with projects ranging from $500k to $20M, with a focus on $3-5M projects. Work Environment The work environment includes work sites in Connecticut (Fairfield, Hartford, New Haven counties) and one in Poughkeepsie, NY. The work schedule is from 7 am to 4 pm, with work split between the company headquarters in Brookfield and worksite locations. You will be part of a medium-sized team, providing operational management to the entire executive team and possibly subcontractors. The company emphasizes training and development, offering room for growth as the company expands. The dress code is professional, aligning with safety and construction standards. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brookfield, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
