Mitigation Project Manager About Coastline Restoration:

Coastline Restoration is a growing, family-owned restoration company specializing in water damage restoration, mold remediation, sewage cleanup, and fire damage mitigation. We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Mitigation Project Manager to lead residential and commercial property-damage mitigation projects from initial assessment through completion. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can manage people, schedules, documentation, customer expectations, and job profitability while maintaining Coastline's standards for quality, urgency, and communication.

Job Summary:

When homes or businesses experience water, fire, mold, sewage, or other property damage, customers need a capable professional who can bring order to a difficult situation. The Mitigation Project Manager will coordinate the field response, establish clear project plans, communicate with customers and stakeholders, and ensure each job is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

You will take ownership of active mitigation projects and serve as a primary point of contact for customers, technicians, vendors, and relevant third parties. You will assess losses, define project scope, coordinate equipment and labor, maintain accurate job documentation, and keep work moving from the first call through final completion. You will be supported by a Service Coordinator who assists with administrative and project-support tasks, including scheduling, customer follow-up, job documentation, equipment and material coordination, and internal communication. This partnership allows you to stay focused on field leadership, customer relationships, quality control, and successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities Respond promptly to mitigation opportunities and conduct thorough site assessments. Develop scopes of work, work plans, schedules, and material or equipment needs for each project. Lead and support mitigation technicians, assign work, monitor quality, and reinforce safe work practices. Work closely with the Service Coordinator to keep scheduling, customer follow-up, documentation, equipment or material coordination, and internal communication on track. Manage project timelines, labor, equipment, materials, and costs to support efficient and profitable execution. Maintain complete and timely job documentation, including photos, moisture readings, daily logs, estimates, change orders, and customer communications. Communicate professionally and consistently with property owners, insurance representatives, adjusters, vendors, and internal team members. Identify issues early, resolve jobsite challenges, and escalate material risks or customer concerns when appropriate. Conduct quality-control reviews and confirm that projects are complete, clean, documented, and ready for the next phase of restoration. Follow applicable OSHA, EPA, and IICRC standards and participate in an on-call emergency rotation as required. Maintain company vehicles, tools, equipment, and jobsite readiness in support of a safe, professional field operation. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong reliability, leadership mindset, and ability to lead by example. Demonstrated ability to manage field projects, coordinate multiple priorities, and make sound decisions under pressure. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain project progress and next steps to customers and stakeholders. Ability to perform physical work in active jobsite environments, including moving equipment and working in varying indoor and outdoor conditions. Ability to participate in an on-call emergency rotation. Preferred Experience Three or more years of restoration, mitigation, construction, remediation, or property-damage project experience. Experience managing water mitigation, structural drying, demolition, equipment deployment, and job documentation. Experience leading technicians or coordinating active field projects. IICRC certifications, including WRT and ASD, are strongly preferred. Experience with Xactimate or comparable estimating and job-management software is strongly preferred. Construction or skilled-trades background is a plus.

Project Manager compensation:

Salary will be based on experience, certifications, leadership ability, and relevant project-management experience.
