$60,000-$75,000 per year (DOE) About the Role We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a growing restoration company in Norwalk, CT . This role is responsible for leading production, scheduling, team performance, customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and profitability while working closely with leadership, project managers, and office staff. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Lead daily restoration operations and oversee production schedules, manpower, equipment, and resources. Supervise Project Managers, Crew Chiefs, and Restoration Technicians. Lead daily Work in Progress (WIP) meetings and establish production priorities. Coordinate project schedules and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Monitor labor utilization, production timelines, and overall job profitability. Review job scopes, estimates, work orders, and project documentation. Support vendor management, subcontractor coordination, and compliance documentation. Prepare operational reports and maintain organized project records. Collaborate with leadership to improve operational processes and overall efficiency. Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining strong communication with customers, vendors, and internal teams. Qualifications 2+ years of operations, project management, or leadership experience. Restoration, construction, insurance, or service industry experience preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); SharePoint experience is a plus. High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. Occasional evenings, weekends, and overtime may be required to support emergency restoration operations. Work Environment This is an on-site position based in Norwalk, CT . Work is performed primarily in an office environment with regular interaction with field operations. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to the office and occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
