For nearly 40 years , Connecticut Basement Systems has been helping homeowners throughout Connecticut and New York transform their homes through foundation repair, waterproofing, and beautiful finished basements. Our Total Basement Finishing division continues to grow, and we're looking for an experienced construction professional to lead our production team. This isn't entirely desk job. It also isn't a job where you'll spend every day carrying drywall or swinging a hammer. If you've owned your own remodeling business, managed construction crews, been a lead carpenter, superintendent, or foreman, and you're ready to use your knowledge to lead projects instead of doing all the heavy lifting yourself, this could be the perfect next chapter in your career. You'll oversee multiple basement finishing projects, coach installation crews, solve problems, communicate with homeowners, and ensure every customer has an exceptional experience. And if a crew needs an extra set of experienced hands from time to time, you're happy to jump in. What You'll Do Lead, coach, and support installation crews and subcontractors throughout each project Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners before, during, and after construction Visit job sites to ensure projects are on schedule, on budget, and completed to our high standards Solve field challenges and make confident decisions that keep jobs moving Coordinate with our permitting department to keep projects progressing smoothly Produce project drawings using CAD software (training available for the right candidate) Conduct quality inspections throughout each phase of construction Deliver materials to job sites when needed Coach, mentor, and develop crew members Lead safety discussions and reinforce safe work practices Create "Remarkable Experiences" for every homeowner Who We're Looking For You might be a great fit if you: Have owned or managed your own construction or remodeling business Have experience as a Lead Carpenter, Superintendent, Foreman, Project Manager, or Crew Leader Enjoy leading and coaching people as much as building projects Love construction but are ready for a role that's more about leadership than heavy labor Have outstanding customer service and communication skills Are organized, dependable, and comfortable juggling multiple projects Enjoy solving problems and making decisions in the field Are comfortable using technology, computers, tablets, and construction software Can build trust with homeowners and crews alike Preferred Qualifications Residential remodeling or construction management experience Experience with basement finishing, framing, drywall, trim, or remodeling CAD experience (or willingness to learn) Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus OSHA 30 Certification is a plus Valid driver's license with a safe driving record What Makes Someone Successful Here Natural leader Customer-focused Highly organized Physically able and knowledgeable enough to support the crew Strong communicator Calm under pressure Sense of urgency Team builder Adaptable and solutions-oriented Takes pride in quality workmanship Why Connecticut Basement Systems?
