Job Description

Hi, my name's Matt Webster, I'm the owner of Golden Shield Roofing, and I'm glad you're here! I'm looking for a dependable Onsite Roofing Project Manager who can run a job site start-to-finish — someone homeowners trust instantly, someone who can hold a team to a high standard and earn the crew's respect, and someone who gets problems solved fast. We're looking for a hardworking professional who wants to really dive into something and build a long-term career where they can grow. Someone who can lead a team and is passionate about their work and wants to be proud of the finished product. Background knowledge in roofing or construction is helpful, but not necessary. What we need is someone who will learn our build standards and apply them to every job — leading the crews, making sure the standards are followed, solving problems as they come up — and someone who isn't afraid to get on a roof to inspect each component or put in a longer day if that's what it takes to get the job done right. Our company is extremely ambitious. We're growing quickly and we hold a high bar in every part of the business because we're building something special. We run every job on documented standards and checklists — the same way, every time, done right. If you want to be on a winning team with a real path up, keep reading. This role is for you if you: Want a career, not a job — you're looking for a company you can grow with for years Are passionate about your work no matter what you're doing, and want to be proud of the finished product. Have led people in some capacity: crew leader, foreman, project manager, shift supervisor, team captain Are strict on getting things done the right way and can hold a team to a high standard, even if it means more time and effort on the project Ask questions when you don't know something instead of guessing and doing it wrong Are comfortable getting on a roof Show up early, stay organized, and do what you say Communicate professionally and earn trust fast with homeowners Stay calm under pressure and solve problems instead of pointing fingers Are coachable — you want feedback and you use it This role is NOT for you if you: Are not willing to go on a roof. Are the type of person to cut a corner so you can go home early. Think "I've always done it this way" is a good answer Guess your way through things instead of asking when you're not sure See checklists, photos, and documentation as a waste of time Hate dealing with customers Always blame others instead of solving problems Like to bark orders and sit back while others work Choose "good enough" over "done the right way" Job hop What You'll Be Doing Manage the jobsite start-to-finish: arrive early, confirm the plan, lead the crew, maintain safety and quality standards, solve problems fast.
Main jobsite point of contact:
coordinate with the inside team, crew, and homeowner. Answer homeowner questions and concerns throughout the day. Make a friend and ensure a positive experience for the customer. Protect the property and keep it clean: protect landscaping and the home, keep the site sharp all day, and ensure everything is fully clean before leaving.
Quality control and documentation:
ensure everything is done to our company standards following the Build Day Checklist, take and label required photos, submit the final job closeout report.
Material runs when needed:
get what's missing so the job stays on track.
Close out the job:
final walkthrough and signoff, collect final payment same day, generate Google reviews.
Introduce yourself to the neighbors:
let them know what's going on and set estimate appointments when appropriate. What We're Looking For Leadership experience of some kind (crew lead, foreman, supervisor, PM, team captain) Comfortable working at heights and getting on roofs daily (required) Experience in a customer-facing role Background in roofing, construction, project management, or roofing sales (preferred) Can speak a little Spanish (ideally) Comfortable using basic CRM functions Compensation & Growth $65,000/year starting base salary ($1,250 per week) - Based on an average of a 40 hour work week. (It averages out but some weeks will be more or less depending on the weather and other factors) Raises every 2 month as long as you are hitting your numbers Reach $85,000 base salary within 18 months
Bonuses:
earn significant bonuses based on 5-star reviews you generate and having a low callback percentage. Clear, written career roadmap: this role has defined levels with defined pay — you'll know exactly what it takes to move up into positions earning $100K+ Commission opportunity: earn 3% commission on revenue from estimate appointments you set with neighbors (extra $10K-$30K per year) Health insurance after 9 months 401(k) matching after 18-24 Months Company gas and lunch card Company truck provided This is more than a job — it's a career path. We're not here to build another "meh" roofing company. We're here to raise the standard in this industry. If you've been waiting for a company that actually rewards effort, this is it. Apply today! I look forward to speaking with you!
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
Benefits:
