A Project Manager manages work on projects with a defined scope, start and completion point. Leads project teams, manages project budgets and schedules; manages contractors and communications with stakeholders. May manage projects in construction, information technology or in other industries.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager Jr. with 2+ years of Project Management or Engineering experience to support utility/construction projects. The role will assist with project planning, scheduling, documentation, project controls, stakeholder coordination, and field/project activities under the guidance of senior project management.
Responsibilities:
Assist with project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, and resource coordination. Coordinate project activities with engineering teams, contractors, and other stakeholders. Monitor project progress, field activities, schedules, risks, and issues. Prepare project documentation, reports, meeting minutes, action trackers, RFIs, submittals, and related records. Support project controls, cost tracking, forecasting, and schedule updates. Assist with construction/project documentation and quality requirements.
Required:
2+ years of Project Management or Engineering experience. PMP certification required. Experience with project planning, scheduling, documentation, and stakeholder coordination. Experience with project management/construction tools such as Primavera P6, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar is preferred. Utility, construction, engineering, infrastructure, power, or substation project experience is preferred.
