  • $130,000 A well-established commercial concrete subcontractor in Central Florida is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead its project management function. This is a genuine step up rather than a sideways move. You would sit above a team of four project managers, reporting to the COO, giving direction and holding the team accountable
  • not writing purchase orders, but making sure the right ones get written and followed through.

The company runs thirteen live projects at any given time, from $6,500 residential slabs to $4.2 million commercial contracts, and is expanding into multilayer, bonded, and county and state work across Florida. The owner has been in the business for three decades and the name carries weight in the market. It will suit someone currently at a larger concrete subcontractor who is tired of the red tape and wants more ownership and a shorter route to a decision. The role Direction, oversight and accountability for a team of four project managers Detailed plan review, engineer coordination, and catching uncertified drawings before procurement Multiple concurrent projects across a wide range of contract values Budgets, schedules and tracking in JobTread Regular site visits, documented with photographs and notes Senior point of contact for customers, general contractors and suppliers What you'll need Around eight years in commercial or industrial concrete project management

  • flexible for the right scope of work Horizontal and vertical concrete experience, with emphasis on horizontal Strong plan reading and the confidence to challenge drawings JobTread, Buildertrend or comparable software Detail-driven, organized, and a strong communicator Willing to travel across Florida
  • this is a hands-on, on-site role Package $110,000
  • $130,000 base, company vehicle or car allowance plus gas card, hotel and $35 per diem for overnight travel, supplemental medical with major medical being sourced, and paid time off accruing after 90 days.
