Industrial Construction / EPC / Heavy Industrial Job Summary Seeking an experienced Program Manager to provide leadership and oversight for complex industrial construction programs and multiple concurrent projects. This position is responsible for overall program execution, including operations, project management, cost control, scheduling, procurement, safety, quality, client relationships, and financial performance . The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale industrial, heavy civil, manufacturing, process, mining, power, or EPC construction projects and a proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams from preconstruction through project completion. Key Responsibilities Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for multiple construction projects and programs. Manage projects from preconstruction and estimating through execution, commissioning, and closeout . Oversee Project Managers, Superintendents, Project Engineers, and other project personnel. Monitor project budgets, forecasts, schedules, productivity, and profitability. Ensure projects meet established cost, schedule, safety, quality, and performance objectives . Review project financials, cost reports, forecasts, cash flow, and earned-value performance. Identify project risks and develop mitigation and recovery strategies. Oversee procurement, subcontractor management, material planning, and equipment requirements. Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and field operations. Manage contract requirements, change orders, RFIs, claims, and commercial issues. Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, clients, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors. Participate in contract negotiations, project reviews, and executive-level client meetings. Support estimating, proposals, constructability reviews, and project pursuit activities. Ensure compliance with company EHS, quality, contractual, and operational standards . Drive accountability across project teams and promote continuous improvement. Provide executive leadership with accurate reporting regarding program status, financial performance, risks, and opportunities. Qualifications 10+ years of construction/project management experience , with significant leadership responsibility. Experience managing multiple projects or large, complex construction programs. Strong background in industrial construction, EPC, heavy civil, manufacturing, mining, power, process facilities, or similar markets . Demonstrated experience managing multi-million-dollar construction projects. Strong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, cost controls, forecasting, procurement, and change management. Proven ability to manage Project Managers and multidisciplinary project teams. Strong commercial and financial understanding, including project P&L and profitability. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and client-management skills. Proficiency with construction/project management systems and scheduling software. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related discipline preferred. Equivalent construction leadership experience may be considered. project delivery Primavera P6 scheduling Project controls and cost forecasting Contract and change management OSHA and industrial safety programs Ideal Candidate The successful Program Manager will be a hands-on construction leader with strong operational and commercial experience who can manage multiple high-value projects while maintaining accountability for safety, schedule, quality, client satisfaction, and profitability. This individual must be comfortable operating at both the executive and field levels—developing program strategy while also working directly with project teams to resolve challenges and drive successful execution.
Pay:
$90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
