Job Description

Role Overview The Project Coordinator serves as the administrative and communication hub for our construction projects. Positioned as the operational partner to our Project Managers (PMs), you will ensure the seamless flow of information, materials, and documentation from groundbreaking to closeout. This is a role for a proactive problem-solver who enjoys the "engine room" of construction and takes pride in keeping complex schedules on track.
Key Responsibilities Workflow Monitoring:
Tracking daily task completion, identifying potential bottlenecks or delays, and alerting the PM before they impact the critical path.
Documentation Management:
Maintaining all project records, including submittal logs, and progress reports.
Communication Liaison:
Facilitating updates between internal departments, external vendors, and sometimes clients to ensure everyone has current information.
Resource & Procurement Support:
Managing material orders, tracking deliveries, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure the team has necessary tools and data
Schedule & Task Coordination:
Developing and updating project timelines, tracking staff, and ensuring the team meets daily deadlines.
Experience & Requirements Industry Interest:
Previous experience or an internship in construction is preferred
Software Skills:
Familiarity with project scheduling software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Field Awareness:
Basic understanding of construction site activities, safety protocols, and management principles.
Organizational Core:
Time management skills with the ability to pivot between multiple tasks without losing track of details.
Communication:
Strong professional writing and verbal skills for coordinating with external suppliers and clients.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
From $21.00 per hour
