Pay Rate:
$85,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and PMP certification. Job Summary Alpine Utility Services is seeking a Project Manager who leads assigned client projects from Sales handoff through completion. This role coordinates Permit Administration, GIS, Field Operations, Sales, Accounting, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and according to client commitments. The Project Manager owns the project plan, schedule, scope, risks, communication, documentation, and closeout. This position has project-level authority but no formal people-management authority or independent authority to bind Alpine. Responsibilities Project Initiation and Planning Review Sales handoffs, contracts, SOWs, pricing, deliverables, exclusions, timelines, billing terms, dependencies, and client requirements. Identify missing information, scope concerns, unrealistic deadlines, and project risks before execution. Develop project charters, schedules, milestones, responsibilities, dependencies, and project plans. Establish project deadlines, owners, deliverables, and required documentation. Maintain accurate project records and documentation. Project Execution and Coordination Lead project kickoffs, status meetings, milestone reviews, and closeout meetings. Coordinate work across Permit Administration, GIS, Field Operations, Sales, Accounting, vendors, utilities, jurisdictions, and clients. Track project progress, deadlines, resources, and deliverables. Identify delays, resource conflicts, risks, and other issues and drive resolution. Maintain accountability for project commitments while respecting department leaders' technical and personnel authority. Manage project changes and ensure scope changes are documented and approved. Client Communication Serve as the primary project contact for assigned clients. Provide regular project updates, timelines, risks, and status reports. Manage client expectations and address project concerns promptly. Document client decisions, approvals, changes, and acceptance of deliverables. Risk, Quality, and Financial Management Monitor project risks, dependencies, scope, and resource requirements. Identify potential cost, schedule, or quality impacts and escalate as needed. Track project financial information, billing milestones, and approved scope. Ensure deliverables meet contractual and client requirements. Maintain documentation necessary for project acceptance and closeout. Project Closeout Confirm all project deliverables are complete and accepted. Resolve outstanding issues and document final approvals. Coordinate final billing and project documentation. Conduct project closeout reviews and capture lessons learned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Operations, or related field preferred. Proven project management experience. PMP certification strongly preferred. Candidates without a PMP must be eligible to obtain the certification and complete it within 12 months of hire. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines. Ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct supervisory authority. Proficiency with project management, scheduling, and Microsoft Office tools. Ability to communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

$85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
