$90,000 - $110,000 per year Job Details - We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Utilities Project Manager to join our team in the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the utilities division on a variety of construction projects. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your skills and experience in subsurface utility engineering in a fast-paced, challenging environment. The role offers a great chance to lead a team of professionals while working on innovative, large-scale projects that will have a significant impact on the community.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the utilities team to ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality. Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all utility-related aspects of the project are well planned and executed. Utilize your expertise in subsurface utility engineering to develop effective strategies for underground utility design, installation, and maintenance. Oversee the preparation of project schedules, budgets, and specifications. Manage risks and issues related to utilities, ensuring they are identified, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure work is being carried out to the project's specifications. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project status, issues, and achievements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying experience with proven SUE experience Experience with Land Development Desktop, Civil3D, and/or Carlson Survey Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within tight deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage relationships with clients, contractors, and team members. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. Proficiency in using project management software and other relevant computer applications. A valid driver's license is required for regular site visits. Professional Engineer (PE) certification or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification would be an asset.
