To provide analytical and technical services related to career and technical education for Volusia County SchoolsPERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
- Provide Tier 1 support for industry certification testing and testing platforms. 2.
- Prepare, initiate, and finalize the required upcoming data reports. 3.
- Process and track all payroll for the department, including sign in sheet reconciliation, leave forms, reporting and archiving according to the Volusia County Schools Retention policy. 4.
- Maintain budget documents and conduct purchase orders as needed for the department. 5.
- Work collaboratively with Coordinator to support the industry certification process. 6.
- Answer phones and take messages. 7.
- Act as security contact for department. 8.
- Maintain appropriate leave forms for in and out of county travel. 9.
- Work collaboratively with Coordinator to review and process research requests. 10.
- Provide support to schools assisting them during industry certification testing. 11.
- Provide support to schools assisting them with Cape purchase order process. 12.
- Work with Technology Services and Research, Evaluation and Accountability to verify CCA graduation codes during review window.

High school diploma or equivalent Three (3) years work experience in advanced clerical office work, personnel experience preferred Computer experience with personnel applications preferred Valid Florida Driver License or ability to acquire one within thirty (30) days of employment, except in case where accommodation is requiredREQUIRED SKILLS
Knowledge of information systems and computer applications Skilled in operating computers and commonly used office management software, including word processing, spreadsheets and data bases Research sills emphasizing necessary documentation and interpretation of data Ability to prioritize tasks, maintain organization, and meet deadlines Ability to function as a working member of the management team Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with a high level of accountability Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision Ability to plan, organize and prioritize a varied workload Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing Ability to solve problems, make decisions and take action in an effective and timely manner Ability to work harmoniously and cooperatively with district staff and the communityREPORTS TO
