Project Coordinator- Custom Whole-Home Automation Location:
Doral, FL Great opportunity to join a highly respected, privately owned whole-home automation technology firm in Doral, FL, with an excellent reputation serving South Florida's elite luxury residential market. The company specializes in advanced, fully integrated technology systems that seamlessly control lighting, climate, motorized shades, security cameras, and whole-home audio/visual—creating sophisticated, effortless living environments customized to each home and client's lifestyle. Looking for a sharp, detail-oriented In-Office Project Coordinator (NO REMOTE) who brings strong ownership, follow-through and the ability to stay several steps ahead. This person will be the organizational hub of multiple active projects—keeping clients and teams well informed, anticipating needs, solving problems and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. The ideal candidate is proactive, polished, and deadline-driven to juggle competing priorities and communicate effectively with high-end homeowners, architects, designers, GCs and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate projects from initial setup through closeout, keeping documentation, deadlines, approvals, and follow-up organized and on track. Prepare and track change orders, purchase orders, invoices, work orders, and other project documentation, ensuring approvals and outstanding items are followed through to completion. Coordinate purchasing, material deliveries, vendor lead times, site access, COIs, permits, inspections, and other requirements needed to keep field work moving. Maintain accurate project files, drawings, reports, photos, and revisions in Procore and other project management systems. Support scheduling and field coordination by confirming site readiness, communicating committed dates, maintaining punch lists, and assembling final closeout documentation.
Qualifications:
5+ years of project coordination experience in AV integration, low-voltage electrical, construction or a related environment; luxury residential experience preferred. Ability to understand project drawings, specifications and technical information. MUST be very tech savvy - proficient with AI, Google Docs and project management software; Procore and iPoint experience preferred. Must have stable work history, clean background check, and able to pass a drug test Bilingual/Spanish is a plus but not required.
Salary:
$70-85K 50% pd employee healthcare w/ GAP option, dental and vision, 401K w/ 4.5% match & 2 wks PTO
