Job Description
Commercial Project Manager $100,000-$140,000 Base Salary Established Commercial General Contractor A well-established and highly respected commercial general contractor is looking to add an experienced Project Manager to their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional who has a strong background managing commercial projects and is looking to join an organization with a strong reputation, repeat business, and a long-term pipeline of work. The ideal candidate will have experience managing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, with the ability to take ownership of budgets, schedules, subcontractors, clients, and project teams. Experience with K-12, municipal, public-sector, government, or aviation projects is a strong plus, but candidates with solid commercial construction experience are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion and closeout Maintain responsibility for project budgets, schedules, contracts, and overall financial performance Coordinate owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams Review plans, specifications, scopes of work, and contract documents Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with clients and project stakeholders Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, schedules, and project documentation Identify potential project risks and develop solutions to keep projects on track Monitor subcontractor performance, quality, safety, and schedule adherence Work closely with estimating and preconstruction teams during project turnover and planning Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to repeat business Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to a high standard of quality Qualifications 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience Experience working for a commercial general contractor Proven ability to manage projects from start to finish Strong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, budgeting, and project financials Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities Proficiency with construction project management software and technology Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required Preferred Project Experience Experience with any of the following is a strong plus: K-12 / Educational Construction Municipal / Public-Sector Construction Government Projects Aviation / Airport Construction Institutional Construction Large-scale commercial construction Compensation & Benefits $100,000-$140,000 base salary , depending on experience Competitive benefits package Long-term project pipeline Opportunity to work on high-profile commercial projects Career growth and advancement opportunities Stable organization with a strong reputation and repeat clientele Interested?
