On all our projects, we make sure to respect a few steps bringing positive impact: doing systematic LCA and eco design, looking for recycled and materials alternatives, using optimized light systems, also introducing model changes and creating circular economy The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient execution of projects from conception to delivery. This role involves coordinating project timelines, materials, quality control, and team management, while ensuring clear communication with clients and the internal team.Key Responsibilities Scheduling & Planning:
Consistently "value engineers" projects to optimize cost-efficiency. Demonstrates the ability to evaluate manufacturing methods (e.g., cnc, painting and powdercoating, welding, fabrication) when estimating projects. Proficient in reading and understanding simple design and technical documents. Utilizes knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word for documentation and communication. Familiarity with various manufacturing techniques and material options for consideration during project estimation. Knowledgeable about materials, such as acrylics, wood, wire, and metal.Project Management:
Develops realistic project timelines in alignment with customer demands. Prepares launch meetings with the production team immediately. Maintains project timelines and ensures deadlines are met. Maintains consistent communication with engineering for drawings and safety considerations. Reviews engineering drawings and compares them to initial estimates before sending them to the customer. Prepares detailed and accurate Bills of Materials (BOM). Considers packaging requirements early in the project. Follow-up on Engineering, Purchasing and Production as necessary to maintain timeline, budget and quality expectations.Communication & Follow-up:
Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of the project's status at any given point or phase. Ensures timely arrival of materials needed by following up with in-house purchasing and communicating updates to the team. Consistently follows up with clients to ensure timely receipt of materials provided directly to Prugent by the client.Quality Control:
Collaborates with production to establish quality standards prior to assembly. Monitors production quality and identifies and addresses quality issues during production.Sales Support/Customer Support:
Demonstrates willingness to assist with customer issues and concerns. Estimates and quotes projects based on client Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and information from sales teams. Responds to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Provides ongoing communication to clients regarding the status of their projects through all phases when requested.Qualifications:
At least 2 years of project manager experience. Proven experience in project management, preferably in a manufacturing or design environment. Strong communication and organizational skills.
