Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Electrical Assistant Project Manager to join our growing construction team. In this role, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical projects across various stages, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients to facilitate seamless communication and efficient project delivery. Responsibilities Assist in developing project schedules using scheduling tools to ensure timely completion of electrical projects. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and system design documents to verify project specifications and ensure compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate procurement, delivery, and installation of electrical components on-site. Monitor project progress through site visits, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and contractual obligations. Maintain accurate documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and daily progress reports. Utilize tools like ProCore and Bluebeam for project documentation management, drawing markups, and communication tracking to streamline workflows. Skills Strong electrical engineering knowledge combined with hands-on electrical experience in construction or related fields. Proficiency in construction management software such as RedTeam, McCormic, ProCore and Bluebeam. Solid understanding of construction estimating processes and contract management principles. Ability to read complex blueprints, schematics, and system design documents accurately. Familiarity with NEC standards and electrical code compliance requirements for construction projects. Excellent project scheduling skills with experience in project coordination across multiple teams. Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills for collaborating with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams effectively. $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
