POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for a passionate Nursery/Cultivation Associate to join our growing
GOLDFLOWER
team. The individual in this role will support the full plant life cycle, from clone to harvest, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) protocols and company guidelines that will contribute to the production of high-quality cannabis products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Vegetation & Propagation:
Assist in plant propagation, including implementing proper sanitary, production, and treatment procedures. Ensure high success rates in plant propagation through proper techniques and care. Coordinate daily operations in the vegetative stage of plant growth. Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for vegetation and propagation processes.
Cultivation Activities:
Perform daily plant care activities under the direction of cultivation leadership, ensuring adherence to production plans and timelines. Execute cultivation tasks including cloning, transplanting, watering, fertilizing, pruning, de-leafing, harvesting, trimming, and plant movement. Assist with Integrated Pest Management (IPM) activities, including application of approved treatments and beneficial organisms. Conduct routine plant inspections (scouting) to identify pests, diseases, or other issues and report findings promptly. Accurately document all plant growth activities, including chemical applications, plant tracking, and compliance records in seed-to-sale systems.
Compliance and Safety:
Adhere to all GMP protocols and company guidelines to ensure the highest standards of product quality. Follow all company policies related to safety, compliance, and standard operating procedures.
Facility Maintenance:
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of greenhouse/nursery and work areas in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Must be at least 21 years old, and able to pass a Florida Department of Law Enforcement Level 2 Background Screening High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred:
Ability to work flexible hours, including extended days, evenings, and weekends as needed. Previous experience in cannabis is beneficial. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Greenhouse/Nursery experience Background in Agriculture
