Orlando, FL | Full-Time | MAD Creative Fabrication About Us MAD Creative Fabrication specializes in custom fabrication for theme parks, attractions, and specialty environments . We work with industry leaders such as Disney, Universal, and other major clients , delivering complex scenic, show set, and architectural elements from design through installation. The Role We are seeking a Scenic Fabrication Project Manager experienced in custom fabrication and/or construction management. The ideal candidate will have a strong design-build mindset, hands-on understanding of the fabrication process, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. This role is responsible for driving projects from kickoff through completion, working closely with general contractors, subcontractors, and internal department leads to ensure quality, budget, and schedule alignment. Key Responsibilities Manage multiple fabrication and construction projects from concept through installation. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, general contractors (GCs), and internal teams. Coordinate directly with show set, millwork, metal, and scenic subcontractors to ensure project alignment and on-time delivery. Review and manage project documentation, including drawings, submittals, and RFIs , ensuring accuracy and constructability. Oversee procurement, scheduling, and change management, tracking costs and adjustments through Procore or similar project management software. Collaborate with department leads to communicate design intent and resolve technical or production issues. Maintain accountability for project scope, schedule, budget, and quality throughout all phases. Conduct job site visits and oversee installation coordination when required. Ensure compliance with safety standards, client expectations, and internal processes. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and field partners. Qualifications 3+ years of project management experience in construction, fabrication, or themed entertainment. Experience working with general contractors and multiple trades/subcontractors . Proficiency with Procore (or equivalent construction project management software). Strong understanding of fabrication processes , materials, and design-build workflows. Ability to read and interpret construction and fabrication drawings. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. Strong communicator capable of translating technical requirements across design, production, and installation teams. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and driven to deliver high-quality work. Hands-on fabrication experience or familiarity with custom build environments strongly preferred . Compensation & Benefits Pay range: $28-$35/hour , based on experience.
