Job Description

Express Employment Professional looking for a Project Manager for an established elevator company on the Treasure Coast. The Elevator Project Manager is responsible for taking an elevator project from the initial deposit through final completion, ensuring that every phase of the project is properly coordinated, communicated, scheduled, and documented.
You will:
Begin by reviewing the project, understanding the equipment being installed, expected lead times, project type, construction status, and anticipated dates for shaft completion and installation readiness. Ensure that all customer and jobsite contacts are accurate and up to date and establish communication with the customer and General Contractor once the deposit has been received. Serve as the key point of contact between the customer, General Contractor, sales team, field supervisor, engineers, technicians, and internal departments. Maintain regular communication with the jobsite to understand construction progress and determine when the site is ready for measurements, inspections, prewire, equipment delivery, and installation. Coordinate the Site Engineer's visit to obtain final measurements and verify critical installation requirements, including shaft dimensions, rail wall construction, machine-room location, temporary power, and door swings. Ensure that drawings and approvals are completed in the proper sequence. Confirm jobsite readiness, monitor equipment availability, establish realistic installation target dates, and communicate those dates with the customer. Coordinate delivery when necessary and schedule the installation with the appropriate field team. Continuously monitor the project until all required tasks are finished. Ensure technician tasks are completed, track outstanding deficiencies, and coordinate any remaining items that could prevent the project from being considered fully complete. Ultimately, the Elevator Project Manager is the person responsible for keeping the project moving forward. They anticipate the next step, communicate what is needed and when it is needed, coordinate the people and resources involved, identify potential delays before they become problems, and make sure the project reaches successful completion. What We're Looking For Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools Proficient in project scheduling and resource allocation techniques Excellent leadership and team management skills Ability to read house plans and basic construction knowledge Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Knowledge & Skills (Preferred) Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience Two years' prior experience in a similar role Proven experience in project management, including project scheduling and implementation Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and clients Leadership skills to lead and motivate project teams #TCFL
