JOB DESCRIPTION
Guest Experience Coordinator- PT 15 hours Position Summary The International Guild of Professional Butlers describes the role of a Butler as follows: "An Experience Coordinator typically oversees the service staff of a residence or hospitality environment. They understand the principles of anticipatory service, maintaining a friendly yet professional demeanor, respecting privacy and confidentiality, and being both discreet and readily available. They possess a strong understanding of social etiquette, formal service, and the appropriate level of hands-on involvement required to deliver an exceptional guest experience." The Experience Coordinator (Butler) is responsible for creating a seamless, personalized, and elevated experience for every guest. This role combines luxury hospitality, guest relations, event support, and operational excellence while ensuring the sales gallery and wellness environment consistently reflect the highest standards. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the sales gallery and all guest-facing areas. Welcome and greet all guests with warmth, professionalism, and exceptional hospitality. Maintain and care for all linens used throughout daily operations. Care for and maintain fine China, crystal, silverware, and other specialty service items. Manage the inventory, organization, and cleanliness of all kitchen equipment and supplies. Assist with onboarding and training staff on hospitality and service standards. Support the planning, coordination, and execution of client events and special functions. Prepare and oversee formal table settings, food presentation, and event setup. Serve food, beverages, tea service, and refreshments while delivering attentive, refined service. Maintain knowledge of wines, spirits, and other premium beverages to provide informed recommendations and support elevated guest experiences. Perform light housekeeping and maintain exceptional presentation standards throughout the property. Coordinate effectively with internal staff, vendors, contractors, and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations. Anticipate guest needs and proactively deliver personalized service while maintaining discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality. Qualifications & Core Competencies Candidates may come from backgrounds in luxury hospitality, hotel or restaurant management, concierge services, guest experience, private service, or butler services.
Preferred qualifications and skills include:
Experience in luxury hospitality, hotel operations, restaurant management, or guest services. Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills. Strong understanding of formal service etiquette and luxury hospitality standards. Knowledge of the care and maintenance of fine furnishings, linens, china, crystal, silver, and specialty service items. Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities. Strong leadership, teamwork, and staff coordination skills. Proficiency with computers and standard business technology. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on approach. Highly resourceful with the ability to quickly identify solutions and coordinate local resources. Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, and external service providers. Wellness & Guest Experience Knowledge Serve as a brand ambassador by embodying the organization's values through thoughtful communication, genuine hospitality, professionalism, and a steadfast commitment to wellbeing. Consistently represent the brand by creating authentic, memorable, and elevated guest experiences. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the property's wellness amenities, services, and programming to confidently educate and guide guests throughout their experience. Learn and professionally perform designated wellness rituals and signature guest experiences in accordance with established standards and provided training. Possess a working knowledge of the property's curated tea program, including tea blends, brewing techniques, and the significance of the tea ritual, enabling an elevated and gracious service experience. Confidently introduce and explain wellness concepts, treatments, and amenities while delivering personalized, luxury-level hospitality. Become knowledgeable about the wellness pods and other wellness-focused experiences, assisting guests with confidence following comprehensive training. Demonstrate a genuine passion for health, wellness, and luxury hospitality, along with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Embrace an anticipatory service philosophy by recognizing guest preferences, exceeding expectations, and creating thoughtful, memorable wellness experiences.
