- 3Years of professional related experience
- Certificationas a Florida Certified Contract Manager (FCCM) or be obtained within 6 monthsof employment.
- Abilityto achieve a successful fingerprint and level II background investigation
- ValidState of Florida driver's license. Develops and initiates marketing strategies designed as outreach for the program, to various media outlets and through direct mail activities.
- Assists in the development and production of outreach materials needed for the program.
- Works with community organizations to deliver information on the VTIP program through presentation and in person meetings.
- Communicates with public inquires as to the VTIP program and processes needed to surrender their vessels to the program.
- Monitors the program budget insuring that funding is available for continued projects and keeps the Program leadership apprised of budget expectations and use of funds within the program.
- Attends a weekly TEAMS or in person meeting with the DV Program Administrator and leadership to receive updates, specific areas of concern and have questions or concerns answered at the programmatic leadership level.
- Addresses specific questions with the DV Program Administrator or the FWC Boating and Waterways legal counsel as needed.
- Coordinates with the Program Administrator on needs within specific regions to enhance productivity of the overall VTIP program and opportunities for improvement.
- Assists in the review and associated updates needed for the VTIP program webpage.
