Job Description

Project Manager (Interior)Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager (Interior) to lead interior construction and fit-out projects from preconstruction through closeout. The role requires strong leadership, construction knowledge, and client-facing skills to deliver high-quality interiors on time, within budget, and to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on interior construction experience, a background in project management, and OSHA 30 certification.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage interior construction and tenant improvement projects from planning through final delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met.

Develop, track, and manage project schedules, budgets, cash flow projections, and change orders; proactively identify and mitigate risks to stay on plan.

Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site crews; conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure work meets specifications and quality standards.

Serve as primary client and stakeholder contact; communicate project status, issues, and solutions clearly and professionally to clients, architects, and consultants.

Oversee procurement and submittal processes, review shop drawings and material selections, and ensure compliance with design intent and contract documents.

Implement and enforce safety programs and best practices on-site, including adherence to OSHA 30 standards and company safety policies.

Prepare and present regular reports, meeting minutes, and project documentation; manage closeout activities, punch lists, and warranty coordination.

Collaborate with estimating and preconstruction teams to support takeoffs, constructability reviews, and accurate project proposals.

Qualifications5+ years of project management experience in interior construction, commercial fit-outs, or tenant improvements.

Proven knowledge of construction processes, interior finishes, MEP coordination, and quality control standards.

OSHA 30 certification required or willingness to obtain immediately upon hire.

Strong financial management skills, including experience with budgeting, cost control, and change management.

Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Proficiency with project management and construction software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, PlanGrid); familiarity with AutoCAD or Revit is a plus.

Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.

Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to job sites regularly.
