Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Commercial Paint Project Manager to lead and oversee complex infrastructure and commercial painting projects from inception to completion. This role involves coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong construction management expertise, excellent leadership skills, and a thorough understanding of construction schedules, budgets, and regulatory compliance. As a key driver of project success, you will manage multiple teams, oversee project planning, and ensure seamless execution of all phases of commercial painting projects. Responsibilities Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial paint projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards. Develop detailed construction estimates using construction estimating software and manage project budgets effectively. Oversee the creation and review of construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. Manage project scheduling utilizing Primavera P6 or similar project management software to coordinate timelines across multiple teams and subcontractors. Supervise on-site activities by collaborating closely with construction teams to ensure safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and quality workmanship are maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes. Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth project execution while managing risks and resolving issues promptly. Ensure all construction plans comply with local building codes and environmental regulations while maintaining high standards for safety and quality. Lead project meetings to track progress, address challenges proactively, and keep all stakeholders informed of milestones. Manage contract negotiations and enforce contractual obligations to safeguard project scope and deliverables. Qualifications Proven experience managing commercial or heavy infrastructure construction projects with a focus on painting or finishing trades. Strong knowledge of construction scheduling tools such as Primavera P6; experience with Schematics is a plus. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and cost management techniques. Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, Civil 3D, Primavera P6; advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite are essential. Hands-on experience working on construction sites with an understanding of safety regulations and site logistics. Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent blueprint reading skills coupled with knowledge of construction plans and schematics. Strong understanding of contracts, regulatory compliance requirements, and construction laws relevant to commercial projects. Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple projects.
