Full-Time Position Summary The Commercial Flooring Project Manager is responsible for overseeing commercial flooring projects from award through closeout. This role manages project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, materials procurement, and client relationships to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact between customers, field teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Manage multiple commercial flooring projects simultaneously from pre-construction through project completion. Review project plans, specifications, contracts, and bid documents. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans. Coordinate material procurement, delivery schedules, and inventory requirements. Schedule and manage installation crews, subcontractors, and field supervisors. Conduct project kickoff meetings and ongoing progress reviews. Monitor project costs, labor productivity, and profitability. Process change orders, purchase orders, and project billing documentation. Maintain strong relationships with general contractors, property owners, architects, and vendors. Perform site visits to monitor project progress, quality control, and safety compliance. Resolve project issues, delays, and customer concerns in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and project safety requirements. Prepare project reports, forecasts, and closeout documentation. Support estimating and sales teams during project transitions and handoffs. Ability for overnight travel and multi day travel Qualifications Required 3-7+ years of project management experience in commercial flooring, construction, or a related trade. Strong understanding of flooring products including carpet tile, broadloom carpet, luxury vinyl tile (LVT), sheet vinyl, rubber flooring, ceramic tile, and hardwood. Experience reading construction drawings, specifications, and contracts. Knowledge of construction scheduling and project coordination. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook. Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites. Preferred Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, or a related field. Experience with project management software such as Procore, RFMS, Measure, Buildertrend, or similar platforms. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification. Experience working with general contractors and large commercial construction projects.
