Senior Sign Industry Project Manager Location:
Norcross, Georgia Job Type:

In-office/Hybrid Compensation:
$70,000-$200,000 per year, based on experience, performance, and compensation structure Join a National Signage Project Management Leader United Signs is seeking experienced sign-industry Project Managers to join our team at our headquarters in Norcross, Georgia. This position is designed for proven professionals who know how to manage complex signage programs from initial planning through fabrication, installation, and closeout. Compensation Options We offer one of the industry's most competitive earning opportunities, with compensation based on experience and production: Salary plus commission Performance and monthly bonus opportunities Commission-based compensation available for qualified candidates Additional earning potential for candidates with an established client base or book of business Key Responsibilities Manage large-scale signage projects from award through final completion Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, general contractors, engineers, vendors, installers, and property owners Review contracts, plans, specifications, surveys, engineering documents, and approved shop drawings Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, milestone dates, and installation plans Coordinate design, permitting, engineering, procurement, fabrication, freight, installation, and closeout Prepare and issue purchase orders for manufacturers, subcontractors, installers, and materials Monitor project costs, labor requirements, vendor performance, and profitability Ensure projects are completed according to contract documents, approved specifications, schedules, and budgets Identify scope changes and prepare change-order requests before additional work is performed Anticipate project risks and resolve problems before they affect cost, quality, or schedule Maintain accurate project records, client communications, approvals, and documentation Verify installation readiness, including site conditions, access, equipment, electrical requirements, and permitting Manage punch-list items, warranties, final documentation, and project closeout Support client relationships and identify opportunities for additional projects Work collaboratively with United Signs' sales, design, estimating, accounting, and operations teams Required Qualifications Minimum three years of professional project management experience in the commercial sign industry Strong knowledge of architectural signage, channel letters, sign cabinets, monument signs, digital displays, permitting, engineering, fabrication, and installation Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, schedules, vendors, subcontractors, and customer expectations Ability to r ead and understand construction plans , specifications, sign packages, and shop drawings Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organization, follow-through, and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Proficiency with project management, CRM, estimating, and standard Microsoft Office applications Ability to work from or reliably commute to our Norcross, Georgia office Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and directly relevant industry experience Preferred Qualifications Five or more years of sign-industry project management experience Experience managing multi-location, corporate, healthcare, government, hospitality, or general-contractor signage programs Existing relationships or an established book of business Experience with ShopVox, Zoho, QuickBooks, or comparable business-management platforms Knowledge of sign permitting, electrical requirements, structural engineering, and national installation coordination Sales or business-development experience within the sign industry Benefits Paid time off Flexible scheduling when project responsibilities permit Employee discount Commission and bonus opportunities Significant income-growth potential Opportunity to manage prominent signage projects throughout the United States Schedule Flexible workdays Flexible workday hours Occasional evening or weekend availability may be required for installations, deadlines, or client needs Work Location This role is based in Norcross, Georgia 30071 .
