Role:
Data Coat Project Manager Location:
Based out of Atlanta, GA (office in Roswell). Travel 3-4 days/week across the East Coast.
Compensation:
$70,000-$90,000+ base + 10-20%+ project bonus + ESOP. Company truck included. Graydaze is one of the largest commercial painting contractors in the country and the dominant player in the industrial warehouse and data center space. Data Coat is our data center division. It moves faster than anything else we run. The projects are high-stakes, the schedules are tight, and nobody is holding your hand. This is the group we put our best people in. We're hiring a Project Manager to run data center work out of Atlanta. Think of it less as a job and more as running your own book of business. You'll make real decisions on behalf of the company and the customer, every day, without waiting for permission. What You'll Be Doing Run data center painting projects from $500,000 to $10,000,000, from procurement through final punch Own the numbers on your projects: budgets, change orders, work authorizations, monthly Estimate to Complete reports Coordinate labor, scheduling, and sequencing with the customer's field team and other trades on site Perform and interpret field takeoffs for tilt panel, TI, data center, and commercial repaint work Make the call when something goes sideways on site, then live with the decision Hold safety, quality, and jobsite standards from mobilization through closeout What We're Looking For Real work experience behind you. Some road already traveled, and a clear reason you get out of bed in the morning A background that's people-facing and operationally heavy. Construction is great. So is 3PL and logistics, sales, or operations inside a larger organization Someone who's carried a book of business, a territory, or a P&L before. Ownership is the trait we're after High emotional intelligence. You can hold a conversation with anyone from a field crew to a data center client, and it isn't all about you Buttoned up. Sharp, organized, and someone who presents well without being told how Built for the road. 3-4 days a week on average, and you want it that way Competitive by nature.
