Job Description
Role Summary The Intersect Group is seeking a senior level Project Management or Audit Readiness professional to lead critical preparation efforts ahead of an upcoming government audit. This individual will play a key role in ensuring the organization is fully equipped to respond to audit requirements related to business processes, DEI initiatives, and risk mitigation practices. This is a hands on execution focused role requiring a detail oriented professional who can organize complex information, identify gaps, and drive completion of audit readiness activities. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders to centralize documentation, build audit artifacts, and ensure all required materials are accurate, accessible, and complete ahead of the audit deadline. Key Responsibilities
- Lead audit readiness efforts in preparation for a government audit
- Review existing business process documentation and identify gaps or inconsistencies
- Organize and validate audit evidence to ensure completeness and accessibility
- Build and maintain a centralized documentation repository within SharePoint
- Consolidate data and documentation from multiple systems and sources
- Develop process flows and supporting audit documentation
- Maintain trackers to monitor progress and ensure all audit deliverables are accounted for
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders to drive alignment and readiness efforts Key Requirements
- 8 plus years of experience in project management audit readiness or compliance initiatives
- Proven experience supporting government audits or regulatory compliance efforts
- Strong experience reviewing and auditing business process documentation
- Proficiency with SharePoint and document management systems
- Advanced Excel skills with experience tracking and managing detailed workstreams
- Ability to work independently in fast paced and ambiguous environments
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with senior stakeholders
