The Assistant Project Manager will assist in coordinating all information needed to construct the project in accordance with contract documents, submittals, RFIs, and project communications. This individual will work with the Project Management team to expand the Project Manager's capacity to manage a higher revenue volume and overall project load by taking on administrative and documentation responsibilities. This role will be intentionally developed to grow into a Project Manager role. Responsibilities
- Perform the groundwork in the submittal and procurement processes to promote efficiency and ensure construction projects start on time with all key documentation in place
- Plan, implement and track job start and job closeout and turnover of construction projects
- Assist in effective handoffs between departments in operations as related to active construction projects
- Manage subcontracts and purchase orders
- Process submittals and shop drawings
- Maintain project logs
- Organize project files and documentation
- Assist Project Financials team with requisitions and payment applications
- Prepare and send out POs and change orders for active construction projects
- Distribute updated drawings and track RFIs and coordinate responses
- Promote and utilize emerging technologies to support internal efficiencies
- Support Project Management team with necessary administrative and communication based tasks to promote efficiency and free up availability of the Project Management team
- Support Project Manager in updating job schedules, tracking material lead times and coordinating delivery schedules
- Assist Project Financial team to coordinate communication with vendors on needed documentation for pay applications
- Oversee, organize, and set up all superintendent housing Any other duties needed or assigned

$60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
