Job Description

Position Description:
Associate Project Manager (APM)
Position Location:
University of Hawaii at Manoa (UHM) BCS Background BCS, Inc. is engaged in the planning, development, and construction of low-voltage structured cabling construction in the field of Voice/Data Communication, Cable Television transmission, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) transmission, and Security Systems cabling. BCS primarily serves the markets within the State of Hawaii. Our primary market is Business Enterprise including Hospitality, Medical, Financial entities, State and City Government, and Federal markets. We pride ourselves on quality, dependability, and timely and priced project deliveries. To ensure BCS attains and maintains this goal, effective project planning, documentation and management is required on every project. The Assistant Project Manager's primary role is to support the construction operations at the University of Hawaii at Manoa and other college campuses (UHWO, HCC, LCC, KCC). Assistant Project Manager Responsibilities 1. Project Management Understand assigned Project scope through review of plans and specifications. Assist Project Manager project invoicing, labor and material requirements. Assist with supportive documentation such as project submittals and budget estimates. Track and manage Daily Progress Reports (DPR) from the field technicians to forecast manpower schedule. Prepare project as-built drawings and close-out documentation. Attend training classes or seminars required for BCS certifications. Provide all other necessary support and additional duties toward BCS's goals and objectives with regards to BCS Operations and Corporate objectives. 2. UHM Moves, Adds, and Changes (MAC) Manage and track MAC Telecom Requests (TR). Prepare project documentation for technicians. Review Person on Job (POJ) from the field installers. Collect and process test results.
Prepare MAC Invoices Minimum Qualifications:
Prefer any experience in construction/project management. Efficient knowledge of Word processing software (MS Word), Spreadsheet programs (Excel), and other industry standard software (Project, Outlook, Adobe, and Bluebeam). Must be able to pass drug screening. Must hold a valid Hawaii Driver's License with no infractions. Must pass criminal background checks for Federal security clearances.

$65,000.00
