Genesis Technician

The Genesis Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Genesis vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards. This role requires strong technical expertise, advanced problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering a premium customer experience. Specific job duties may vary based on experience and qualifications. Compensation is commensurate with experience. Candidates may also be eligible for a signing bonus based on years of experience. Duties Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance according to manufacturer specifications. Utilize factory diagnostic tools and service equipment. Complete warranty repairs. Document repairs accurately and efficiently. Conduct multi-point inspections to identify any issues or potential issues. Stay current with technical bulletins and required training. Ensure compliance with dealership and manufacturer safety standards. Maintain strong, professional collaboration with Service Advisors and management to support transparency, efficiency, and a premium ownership experience. Uphold a clean and organized work area. Experience Proven mechanic experience with a strong understanding of automotive systems and repairs. Background in automotive service or auto body repair preferred at a Hyundai or Kia dealership Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repair processes Familiarity with vehicle diagnostics software is a plus. Pay:

$19.00 - $39.00 per hour
