Project Controls Specialist
Job Description
Job Description The Project Controls Specialist will support a single complex project and serve as a key liaison across scheduling, document control, cost awareness, and contract administration functions. This role requires close coordination with project stakeholders, subcontractors, and field personnel to maintain project execution, communication, and workflow management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project scheduling efforts and coordinate activities across multiple subcontractors and stakeholders.
- Maintain and monitor project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Identify potential schedule impacts and communicate risks, delays, and dependencies.
- Manage project documentation, submittals, approvals, and workflow processes through Oracle Unifier.
- Support change order, RFI, and contract-related processes by recognizing potential impacts before formal submissions occur.
- Participate in job-site discussions to capture early information on potential scope, schedule, or cost changes.
- Facilitate communication between scheduling, cost, document control, and contract administration functions.
- Track and route project workflows and documentation in accordance with established processes.
- Serve as a field-based project controls resource, providing real-time project insights and coordination support.
- Utilize mobile project management tools for field work and synchronize information with central systems.

- Proficiency with Primavera P6 scheduling software.
- Experience using Oracle Unifier. Prior experience supporting projects at active job sites.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work across multiple project control disciplines and stakeholders.
- Understanding of change orders, RFIs, workflow processes, and contract requirements.
- Experience in plant or industrial project environments.
- Experience supporting combustion turbine or power generation projects.
- Familiarity with Oracle Unifier Mobile.
- Ability to balance field and office responsibilities.
- Experience identifying and resolving project issues before formal escalation.
